I missed a couple of sizes in my earlier blog entries - so I thought I ought to add them now. Not sure why missed them - particularly as these are some of the larger cupped sports bras I sell.

I have also been able to add some oeven larger back sizes. This is because of the Anita 5427 which makes a great big back sports bra. This bra goes all the way up to a 52 back size.

Thermal Underwear

Hi

I have just started a new shop called "Thermal Underwear Online". I have created it as I have seen a lot of confusion over what type and mixes of material you should buy for these lingerie items.

Angora, Merino, Cashmere, Wool, Cotton, Nylon, and Polyester are just some of the materials that thermal are made of - but I have not found a discussion of the pros and cons of any of these anywhere.

So that is what I have tried to do on the site - I hope you find it useful.

I have just updated my range of maternity and nursing bras that can be found on my Betty and Belle website (and in the shop as well). I have decided to focus on two main brands Anita and Royce, although to ensure I have a great selection for the larger busted lady, I have also include some bras from Elila and panache.

The Underwired Nursing Bras (such as the 5068 shown above) are proving to be extremely popular. Although this has not been traditionally encouraged the soft flexible underwires in these bras have been specially designed for breast feeding, and are ideal for anyone who wants a bit more structure and support.

I have spent a lot of time researching the different types of bridal lingerie that is available on the market and from various websites. I have now put together a collection which really specialises in fantastic bridal basques.

I think these are pretty much the nicest ones you can buy, and I have carefully chosen the ones I think are the prettiest. They also cater for the more full figured bride, and for dresses that require a low back basque.

I have managed to find the time to add a few more watches into the collection. There are three G Shock Watch models, and one Wave Ceptor.

the MTG 930DU 8VER. This is a great, chunky looking watch, which is solar powered
the G 1000 1AER. One of the few casio watches NOT to feature an LCD anywhere on the display !
the GLX 5600 1DR. A great one for all the gadget freaks as it shows the phases of the moon and the tides.
the WVA 430U 1AVER. A nice simply styled watch.

I still have a few more to add, so keep looking.

Busy, busy, busy

Well its been a busy old Christmas. Just starting to slow down now - so I guess its just the last minute shoppers now.

I didn't let down a single customer in delivering the goods - which is fantastic, but I am looking forwards to a break.

I have a couple of new Casio Watches to add to the collection in the New Year - I just haven't had the time.

The website slipped to Google Page 7, but I am regularly getting Page 1, even position 1, results for searches on the specific watch names - which is great.

Two Steps Back

Well - not sure what is happening at the moment.

My page looks pretty well optimised for my Casio Wave Ceptor Watch keyword phrase, and I have submitted to loads of directories for links but...

I am now relegated to Page 6. Very disheartened. I will keep on trying untill the site gets to 3 months, and then will have to try something different (not sure what yet). pretty sure the age of the site is working against me at the moment.

I have been bouncing around on page 4 of Google for about a week now. Links have registered in Google (but still not Yahoo), but it doesn't seem to have had the desired effect.

I had thought that the links - even though they are a bit feeble - would have been worth 10 or so places, particularly when you look at the competition.

Guess I will just have to push on with my linking efforts, which for the moment are directory submissions, plus commenting on the odd blog / article.

I now have more links registered on Yahoo for this Blog than I do for the site >:-(

Moving up - slowly but surely. Now placed at Google 36 (Page 4).

Must be the links having an impact, but they are not registering anywhere on my statcounters - oh well shouldn't complain.

the odd thing is I am absolutely nowhere on Yahoo, and cant seem to get it to index a single page of my site. I guess I will have to wait.

Added a couple of Casio Pro Trek Watches to the collection.

Bit disheartened today

Bit down about progress today, it all seemed to be going soooo well.

Currently sitting at 46, page 5 on Google (for Casio Wave Ceptor Watch). Ironically Wave Ceptor Watches puts me on page 1 position 9 ?!?!?! I guess it is "Casio" that makes it more competitive - although I would have thought a four word long tail like this would have been ok.

Still nowhere on Yahoo - and I thought that would be the easier nut to crack. Got the feed sorted on Site Explorer a while ago - so fingers crossed.

Only one link showing on Google - which is from this blog - all my other links have not registered yet. Particularly disappointed that the JoeAnt link hasn't shown up yet.

Minor tweaks on re-optimisation, but got my highest score so far - so I would hope it would improve another 5 - 10 positions as a result. Won't see the results until next wee.

Time delay

Well here is the official line on the delays for Google to see links from the blog.

The link from my Blog "Success" on the 17th of October was reported in Google Webmaster tools today (26th) - 9 days delay, although it said it was spotted on the 21st - only 4 days delay. Not sure when it impacts on ranking (if at all!!).

Funnily enough none of the other links have been spotted.

Hopefully my lovely Casio watch site, selling Casio Wave Ceptor Watches, will move up soon.

Well I couldn't leave off, and made some minor changes to my body text, and bold text, to emulate the top 10 sites. Its all getting a bit more exciting because....

Today I moved up to Google position 52, page 6. the cached page is still out of date, so I assume I still have some improvements to feed through.

Still not in Yahoo Top 200 !!!! - guess I havent been indexed yet - seems to take for ever.

The MasterMoz link has disappeared from Yahoo (dont ask me why), but JoeAnt did indicate their directory is updated on Thursadys - so that might explain my jump.

Still feeling confident about page 1 - but a long way to go.

Slowly but surely

Just creeping up the rankings, not really sure why !!
Now standing at:
Google (UK): position 88 on page 9;
Yahoo (UK): NOWHERE !! - maybe I ought to look at yahoo a bit more. It seems to take longer to index - but then leaps up the rankings (assuming you have it right)

The Google cache is still out of date, so it must be a few more days for my latest on-page changes to feed through - so still optimistic about getting a page one listing.

No links have shown up in Google yet, but the (free) MasterMoz directory link has shown up in Yahoo Site Explorer almost immediately. Hopefully that will trickle through.

I have put a couple of sale items on the home page and knocked a couple of pounds off them. Take a look, and check out my Casio G-Shock Watches.

Well a bit of success at last. Some of the re-optimisation has fed through. I have moved up 15 pages on Google !!!! Amazing - but the bad news is I am still on Page 10 :-(. The cached page on Google is still not up to date, so I think the latest set of on-page re-optimisation has not yet fed through.

I reckon this could take another week, so I will lay off any on-page alterations for the moment, and see what impact the new changes have.

No links registered on yahoo or Google yet, even though I have submitted to many directories - maybe they are valueless afterall.

The JoeAnt link should go live on Thursday (22nd Oct) - I will see how long it takes to register on yahoo and Google (and what impact it has). On one of my other sites it took 12 days for a blog link to register on Google. I expect the same for this.

Feeling a bit more optimisistic about getting of 1st page now, but a long way to go from Page 10 !!!!

That didnt work

Well the re-optimisation didnt seem to work - I am now back on page 26. But I am never quite sure how long it takes things to filter through to the Google rankings. The Cache is still showing the old page structure, so maybe my changes haven't filtered through.

Starting building links, and registering in directories now. Yesterday I purchased a Joeant directory place. Probably the only paid one I will bother with. I will track how long it takes to get noticed on Google and Yahoo links register.

Here is hoping it will boost my ranking for my main search term "Casio Wave Ceptor Watch".

But OMG - my first listing was on page 25 on Google !!! Took a bit of work to find that.

Onwards and upwards, should be an interesting journey. I have done a bit more on-site optimisation, and will wait a few days for that to ripple through. Then it is links.

I am really interested to see if a single product website has any advantage in getting the listings.
